Hi there!

I'm Greta Li, driven by curiosity about data, stories, and the systems that shape them.

I combine analysis with storytelling. I examine financial systems to understand where they fall short for people. Five years at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau analyzing data to identify compliance risks and guide regulatory decisions.

I build organizational capacity in nonprofit settings through strategic partnerships and community engagement. Now exploring roles in strategy, data science, and AI safety—work where analysis reveals what's broken and decisions drive meaningful change.

About

Background

I grew up navigating two cultures and learned early that context matters. I studied business at NYU and became interested in how businesses shape society. I studied data and systems at Georgia Tech (M.S. Analytics, December 2025). For five years at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, I examined financial institutions to understand where systems hurt people. I'm interested in that question across domains.

Current Role

Five years as a Research Analyst at CFPB examining financial institutions. I analyze data to identify compliance risks, then translate findings into clear recommendations that guide regulatory decisions.

Now exploring roles in strategy, data science, operations, and AI safety—work where analysis reveals what's broken and drives decisions that matter.

More About Me

I've designed annual reports for nonprofits, executed campaigns, and facilitated design thinking workshops. Same underlying skill: take something complex, make it visible, help people act. Curious about AI governance because the stakes are higher.
